Song: Leaving on a Jet Plane

Today was the big Concert on the Green with Mr. B., our wonderful music teacher.

All grades performed a song.

When we came back to our class, we recorded the song for our blog.

Here is a presentation of our song, "Leaving on a Jet Plane" by John Denver.

What was your favorite part of the Concert on the Green?

How did like our song?

  5. Dear Students,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this blog. It was very sad for me not to be able to be at the concert yesterday. Seeing your video gave me a chance to be a part of the program, even if just a little bit. You did a wonderful job with your song.

I have enjoyed visiting this blog throughout the year and being able to read and see the great things you have learned. I hope you all keep blogging and sharing with each other how great it feels to learn new things and share what you know with others.

I hope you all have a great summer, and I can't wait to see you next year.

  6. Dear Class,
I thought that was the best Concert on the Green yet! Everyone sang with such enthusiasm!

My favorite part of the show was the finale when everyone got up and sang "We are Family"! It was the perfect ending for the show and the year!

I just listened to your recording and all of you sound beautiful!

    Love,
    Mrs. Yollis

  10. Dear Class,

I sure enjoyed the show last Friday. You all did a wonderful job on your song. Because they were all "goodbye" songs for the teachers who are leaving us at Chaparral, it was such a heartfelt performance. This show was by far my favorite Concert on the Green yet! Thanks Mr. B!!!

I hope you all have a fantastic summer!

  12. Dear Shane F.,

I saw your comment. Out of all the songs I know, I would like to sing, "I'm Yours," by Jason Mraz. I like the beats, lyrics, usage, and music. You should check it out. If you do please tell me what you thought about it!

    Thanks for the question,
    James
