In order to improve our blogging and commenting skills, Mrs. Yollis enrolled the class in an international blogging challenge!
It is a great opportunity to improve our Language Arts skills, meet other classroom bloggers, and learn from each other.
One of the first challenges was to create an avatar. An avatar is an image that is used to represent a person. Here are our classroom avatars. We used photos of our lucky hats!
Our goal this week is to visit five different blogs and leave a comment after reading a post.
We already visited Mrs. Yollis' former student's blog, Jonah's Jumbo Blog.
We hope more bloggers from the challenge visit our site.

ReplyDeleteIt was so fun making our lucky hats. We liked making our lucky hats because we got to be creative. We think Charlie's hat is cool because it has 24 googly eyes. We also liked Gal's because it was 3-D hat. What would your hat be if you made one, Mrs. Yollis?

ReplyDeleteYou two are great bloggers! You always leave such thoughtful comments. I liked all the hats, but I especially liked how Gal's had a 3-D bill.
I also thought that Scarlet's orange hat looked full of luck. The unusual shape and colorful additions she included made her hat quite interesting.
