  1. Dear Mrs. Yollis' Class,

These nominations are so awesome and extremely well-deserved! I am a regular reader of this blog, and I have received continual inspiration for my work both in the classroom and as a teacher librarian. Your online activities are so impressive and serve as a model not just for elementary school, but for all school levels through high school. If I were a second grader, I would definitely want to be in your class! Students, be sure to spread the word about these nominations; it is okay to campaign for votes from relatives and friends. :-)

How are you all going to celebrate your nominations?

    Sincerely,

    Jane Lofton
    Teacher Librarian
    Mira Costa High School .

  7. Dear Mrs. Yollis' Class,

Congratulations to you and Mrs. Yollis! You all deserve this great honor. As a 1st grade teacher I have learned that sharing your knowledge with others, in your case with other students and teachers all over the world, is extremely powerful. There is so much we can all learn from each other.

I see that you will be celebrating your nominations. Have you had any other celebrations this year?

    Enjoy,
    Mrs. Sather

  10. Dear Mrs. Yollis' Class,

It is fantastic that you have been nominated for so many awards! I am not surprised though - your blog is amazing. My students and I learn so much from you.

My teaching wouldn't be nearly as much fun if I didn't have you, 2KM, 2KJ, Team Toa, and all our other blogging buddies to learn from. I think it is great that all the blogs from the Ugandan Global Project have been nominated - we are all learning together.

Thank you for being such fabulous blogging buddies!

    Congratulations and best of luck.

    Mr. Salsich
