Do You Know Your Number Forms?

Mrs. Yollis' class is learning about numbers.  They have learned about:

STANDARD FORM:    2,345 

EXPANDED FORM:   2,000 + 300 + 40 + 5

WORD FORM:  two thousand, three hundred forty-five


Here is another example of the three forms we learned:

In the comment section, make up a number and write it out in standard form, expanded form, and word form.

Visitor Count Palindrome!

This week we noticed that the Visitor Count number was a palindrome!

pal • in• drome (noun)

a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backward as forward, e.g., madam or nurses run.
