Dear Mrs. Yollis and Class (and Sarah and Miriam),
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on these nominations! This is exciting news. I think it is especially meaningful that the Family Blogging Month post was nominated since it includes so many interesting comments, observations, introductions and connections.
My favorite thing about the two class blogs are the way they are improving our students' writing skills. I can't wait to see if any current students go on to become successful bloggers like Sarah and Miriam.
Way to go, everyone! And thank you to Mrs. Yollis for being our blogging leader.
Sincerely,
Lisa (Troy's mom)
Dear Class,
ReplyDeleteDid anyone notice that my post should have said, "My favorite thing about the two class blogs is the way they are improving our students' writing skills?" That is because the word "thing" is singular, not plural. I should have proofread my comment more than once and maybe slowed down a little. Doing those two things usually makes for better writing.
From,
Lisa
Hello there, Class - Congratulations on your continued blogging achievements and recognition. I'd vote for you all but, alas, having grown up in a different century, I have no account with either of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Google+. But all is not lost as I did manage to write this comment. :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work,
Winston's Dad
Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the nominations! It is so exciting and I feel so fortunate that Leah is part of your class.
I love that your students are improving their writing skills by using the computer. I didn't have a computer at home until I was 16! I bet your students can't imagine their lives without technology. They don't know how good they have it!
Good luck!
Warmly,
Jen (Leah's mom)
Dear Mrs. Yollis and Class,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the nominations! These blogs are teaching everyone many different skills, and important ones that are helpful no matter what job you have in the future.
Great job everyone!
Sincerely,
Paul (Troy's Dad)

Participating with you by commenting on the blogs is a pleasure. I have enjoyed seeing how your writing is constantly improving!
Keep up the wonderful work!
All the best,

Dear Mrs. Yollis and Class,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the nominations! This is so exciting and something you will always remember. We have really enjoyed blogging as a family and appreciate the experience.
Good luck to you all.
Warmest Regards,
Deborah (Ella's Mom)
Dear Mrs. Yollis and Class,
ReplyDeleteWe have had such an incredible time blogging over the last month. We were even up late on the night of the 5th (the last day of the blogging contest) getting in our last comments. It has really improved everyone's writing and typing skills I'm sure!
It took me awhile to figure out how to vote, but I gave the thumbs up to this blog. We all absolutely love it!
Happy Blogging!
Meredith
Dear Mrs. Yollis and Class and Sarah and Miriam too,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the nominations. You are so deserving of them. You should be so proud of yourselves. I know I am! The blog is such a phenomenal educational tool. I was more than happy to cast my vote for all the categories and student blogs too. Truly wonderful achievements. Looking forward to more blogging throughout the year.
Warmly,
Gayle
