Wednesday is Veterans Day!

On Wednesday, America celebrates Veterans Day. It is the day we honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces. Veterans Day is a national holiday.

Below we feature some friends and family who are veterans!

Meet our district superintendent, Dr. Stepenosky. As you can see, he served in the Navy. From 1990 to 1994, he was on a USS Chancellorsville which was a guided-missile cruiser. It was 9,000 tons and had a crew of 330. Notice the destroyer in the background.

Meet Isabella's grandfather, Seargent Bill was in the Marines. He was stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina, and he served in the Vietnam War.

Meet Dahlia's cousins Samantha and Benjamin. They are both in the Naval Academy at Annapolis. Samantha is 22 years old and Ben is 19.

On the top right, meet Ryder's aunt, who is a captain or LTC nurse in the U.S. Army. She is located in Korea.

His cousin is featured on the bottom right. She is a private who joined the military last year at the age of 19 She is stationed in Germany and wants to one day become a veterinary school.

Ryder's cousin is featured on the left. He is age 24 and is a BNE officer who wants to become an Air Force pilot.

Meet Ben's grandfather named Arthur. He was a sailor in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Ben's other grandfather, David, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

    I'm impressed by all these veterans of all ages-- men and women both! What amazing family members to be proud of.

  3. We as a family are very proud of all the veterans and soldiers who have served and are serving our country. We all remember and thank them for their wonderful service today and always.
