Happy Presidents Day!


The third Monday in February is Presidents Day.

George Washington and Abe Lincoln were both born in February, so we honor these men with a national holiday.

Global School Play Day, 2020


Today, my class participated in Global School Play Day







I was heavily influenced to participate in #GSPD after listening to this eye-opening presentation:The Decline of Play TED Talk from the psychologist Peter Gray.

On Monday, I emailed parents, shared "The Decline of Play" video, and asked for games to be brought in for our #GSPD event. On Wednesday, we played!




First, we talked about the rules. 
There would only be , the Golden Rule.






There were so many fun group games!
