ReplyDeleteI am classroom teacher from the other side of the world (nearly) in New Zealand. Although I have not been to the United States for some time I really want to visit after seeing some of the amazing photos that you posted and some of the national park information that you presented in this post. It sounds amazing - trees that are over three hundred feet tall sounds like they must be incredibly giant! Wow!

Dear Mr. Webb,
DeleteMrs. Yollis is so sorry that she did not get to see you in New Zealand. We are too! Maybe you can come here and we can see you!
Are there any National parks in New Zealand?

Dear Mr. Webb,
DeleteI have been to many national parks. How many national parks have you been to?
What season is it in New Zealand? It is spring here and the temperature is in the 80s-90s. It is so hot!
Best,
Grace
Dear Mr. Webb,
DeleteThank you so much for taking the time to respond! Mrs. Yollis was so sad that she didn't get to meet you in New Zealand. :-(
I wrote about Joshua Tree National Park. It is in California near Palm Springs. Some people think the Joshua tree is ugly, but we think that it is beautiful.
Please check out my post and tell me what is you opinion about the Joshua tree!

Mrs. Yollis' Class, This is an amazing blog post. I have not been to the Cascades...YET! But now I really want to go. My favorite park so far has been the Rocky Mountain National Park. So many beautiful mountains and views to see....and the hikes are full of wonderful streams and waterfalls. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!

So happy to hear you enjoy the Global Math Task Tech Challenge. My students do as well. In my opinion, the Joshua Tree is a beautiful park of nature. It reminds me of the Truffula Trees in a book. There are 8 National Parks in Tennessee. Did you know there is a website that you can search the National Parks by state? https://www.nationalparks.org/explore/parks?state=1661

Dear Atteen,
ReplyDeleteYour trip to Olympic National Park looks so cool! I haven't been there YET!
How high is the fee to enter the park?
Are there any dangerous animals at Olympic National Park?
Sincerely,
Ronald♥
Wow! I learned a lot about your two national parks! I am located on the other coast, near Assateague National Seashore. We have very different weather, but I would really like to explore your parks. I didn’t know any of the national parks had that many glaciers; I might need to visit.
