Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the video!
So far I think your the best teacher in the whole school because you bring things to life. For example you brought our clay fishes to life. I also enjoyed the group hug because every body was squishing me. When my mom came to pick me up from school I didn't want to leave. Some activities we use to do were playing silent speed ball and hand ball.
See you next year!
From,
Nicole
Your former student
Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on another successful year! It's always with joy and sadness that we leave a class in June. Joy that they will be students in a new grade, and learning new things and sad because the year is over.
Thank you for all that you accomplished with your blog. I have learned so much from you. I hope we can collaborate again next year!
Enjoy your summer!
Mrs. Hembree
PS. Our last day isn't until the 22nd. Boo-hoo!

Dear Mrs Yollis and students,
ReplyDeletecongratulations on a wonderful year its been awesome getting to know you all.
I hope you all have a awesome time while on holidays. All the best for grade four to you all.
I will still be in grade three.
Mrs Yollis and Mr Yollis I hope you both have a wonderful summer holiday.
Thank you for your support and kindness during the year.
Please give my love to your mum too.
From your pal,

Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteI am sad that the school year ended, but I'm happy that summer is starting! In the group hug I am the one in the back with the red Blake Griffin #32 jersey.
Some of my favorite memories from the school year are when you anounced that I was getting a blog and when we would always play silent speed ball after a part of the star test! Did you like playing silent speed ball?
I also liked skyping! My two favorite skypes were the mystery skype call with Mr. Avery's class because we knew them, but it took us a while to figure out who they were and the first one with Australia because we got to learn about people from the other side of the world. I didn't really participate in the mystery skype call with Mr. Avery's class because I had a feeling that it was them at the beggining.
Your Former Student,
Jaden
Dear Mrs Yollis and class,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You made it! Third grade is over and it is now time to celebrate and relax!
I really enjoyed the video. It was nice to reflect with all of you. Like you, the Ugandan project is something I'll remember forever.
I was particularly interested in your readability statistics. I'm goings to check that out.
I bet it is hard for Mrs Yollis to leave you all behind. I am on the opposite side of the world but I feel like I know you. I hope we keep hearing from Amitai, Jaden, Adia, Grace, Nicole, Finn, Hannah and all your other excellent bloggers!
Have a terrific summer, everyone. We'll still going to be working hard in 2KM and 2KJ so we'd love to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteWhile it's always sad to say goodbye to students at the end of a year it is also a proud moment to see how well they are prepared to be moving on to the next stage of their lives.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer and take the opportunity to 'recharge your batteries'.
We look forward to learning with you again.
your friend
Mrs M♔Kenzie
Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteI am happy it is summer, but I will miss you and my class. My favorite memories are learning to blog, going on field trips and the mystery skype calls. When I first started blogging I didn't write that much, but as time went by I got better and learned to write a quality comment. Now I have my own blog and I really like it! Do you have favorite memory from this year?
I will never forget you and will come by to visit next year. Thank you for teaching me so much!

Dear Mrs. Yollis and class of 2011,
ReplyDeleteSchool may be out but teachers and principals are always still hard at work. I am in Portugal about to present to a conference of adult learners about why it can be so important for students to blog. If all goes well, I am hoping to show them a little bit of your blog and Mrs. Levy's blog. I am having a little trouble with my connections but I am hopeful it will work. Maybe you will get some visitors to your blog to look around at all the things you accomplished last year. I am so proud of you and your teacher.
Have a great summer!
Mrs. Harding
@ Mrs Yollis and students,
ReplyDeleteI hope you're all enjoying your holidays, we've got holidays at the moment too but they're not as long as yours.
I just wanted to say Happy 4th of July.
Your pal,
Jarr☀d (2KM / Jarrods blog)
Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteI know it's kind of to late to say this, but happy summer!
It has been a while since I have been on your blog. It is so amazing!
My favorite part about the school year when I was in your class was when you taught us cursive. I don't know why, but that was just my favorite part.
What was your favorite part of this year?
Your former student,
Kendall
PS. During the beginning of summer I found a heart shaped rock that I'm going to give to you when school starts.
