Happy Mother's Day!

Today is a special day, first celebrated in 1908,
to honor our mothers!

My Mother, my friend so dear
throughout my life you're always near.
A tender smile to guide my way
You're the sunshine to light my day.

  3. Dear Mrs Yollis,
I just love your new post.

I just adore your photo of the pink rose it is so pretty.
For Mother's Day I made mum a lucky dip so every hour or 2 hours mum would have to put her hand in a grab 2 items.

So far mum has a elephant rubber and a pencil and much much more.

The Mother's Day song was awesome I will tell Mum to check it out.

    From your pal,
    BB

  4. Dear Mrs. Yollis,
What a wonderful post! I loved it. We had a tranquil and memorable day with the family. My father-in-law made some mouth watering Peruvian food called Seco. Although, Alexandra is not a big fan of Seco, she sure enjoyed the dessert, Arroz con Leche. Yummy!

I hope all the Mothers had a great and special day yesterday.

    Sincerely,
    Lysandra (Alexandra's mom)

  5. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

I loved spending time with my mom and grandma on Mother's Day. As a present, I bought my mom liquid eyeliner, and mascara from Mac. (Mac is a makeup store at the mall). For my grandma, I bought her a wonderful smelling perfume like her favorite, Balenciaga. It was expensive, but it was worth it because I love them so much!

The night before Mother's Day, I had to sleep at my grandma's house because my mom had a speed dating event she was hosting. It is a tradition for my family to make breakfast for my mom on Mother's Day morning, so before I went to bed, I made some delicious crapes for breakfast. In the early morning, I quietly walked down the stairs to the kitchen. I took the crapes out of the fridge, and made them nice with strawberries, bananas, and a spread of chocolate because it was still morning. I made tea, grabbed a tray, and carefully walked up the stairs with breakfast! I woke her up and put the tray on her lap. She loved the breakfast!

    Sincerely,

    Dear Mrs. Yollis,

What a thoughtful post. Hopefully, my mother had an amazing mother's day. First, we woke her up with a nice hot cup of coffee and divine pancakes! We took her outside in our backyard to eat them. Then, we gave her our gifts. I got my mom two things, a bright red iPod, and a makeup up kit she wanted. I also made her a wonderful card. After eating all the yummy food, we got ready to take my mom to her favorite shows. Cirque De Soul! We saw Iris, Iris is about making all the movies and T.V. shows. There was a lot of cool effects. This one character wore a film tape skirt, and she could spin it, while it was spinning he showed old movies on it! I think that one part was funny because this man wanted to become famous, so he asked the manager how to be famous, and he said, "Be a lady!" So, what he did was he put on a red dress, high heels, and make up. Then, he came out and said, "Jealous?"

After the stupendous show, we looked around the mall a little. When it was dinner time, we went to her favorite spaghetti place! I forgot what the restaurant's name was, but I will never forget how much fun we had!

    Sincerely,
    Sasha♥ ༣ ♥ ༣ ♥ ༣
