  1. Dear Mrs. Yollis and class,

We both have read this book! We think this is a very interesting book because Dr. King really tells a story about what hard things he endured throughout his life.

Grace's favorite part in the book is the quotes. Specifically, the one where he says, "I hope one day white boys and white girls will join hands with black boys and black girls."

On the other hand, Ryan's favorite part is when it shows Martin giving his dream speech. Ryan also likes how they kept on fighting peacefully. It really shows that he cares for everybody.

We think the moral of the story is that you should believe that everyone is the same no matter what the color of your skin. You should be judged on your character, but not your skin.

    Warmly,

    Grace and Ryan
    (Yollis' students)

  2. Dear Mrs Yollis and students,

Once again thank you for another great Reading round up with your partner and his students.

I really enjoyed listening to your opinions on the book Martin Luther King, Jr.
What a wonderful book to read.

What an inspirational, intelligent person he was. He never gave up.
His words alone are amazing and I do have to agree with Grace my favourite quote is the same as hers.

I feel the moral is that we are all equal, no matter what you look like we are all on the same page. Each and everyone has something specical to offer.

    Great work once agian.
