Help Fund Our DonorsChoose Project!

Mrs. Yollis' class makes a lot of movies!

Sometimes they are big productions like this video about our trip to Asia!

Sometimes they are smaller productions like our How to Write Quality Comments video.

Sometimes they are used to kick off a new project.

And sometimes they are quick tutorials to helps students learn from home.

A frequent problem Mrs. Yollis' class has with movie making involves sound. Often times, the microphone they use shorts out or makes static and they have to re-record over and over. Mrs. Yollis' class has submitted a project to purchase a microphone at DonorsChoose.org. Kelly Tenkely from iLearn Technology will be funding the classroom project with the most votes.

It was great to see some of those videos again and to have some wonderful example of some of your online work. You and your students are an inspiration to us on the other side of the world (and to Mr Webb as well). I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you and your students a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in New Zealand our School finishes this week (most schools tomorrow, some like ours Friday lunchtime) and our students have their summer holidays from now until the first week in February when we will be back in contact. Thanks so much for your help this year, all the best.

I wish you and your students a Merry Christmas and a wonderful summer break. We look forward to connecting again in February!

    Your friend,
