Mrs. Yollis' students have been learning about decimals!

Here is a lesson about tenths and hundredths using dimes and pennies.

  1. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

Learning about decimals is fun! When I was getting all of my pennies together, I sorted them into ten piles of ten.

    Happy decimals,
    Trent :-)

  2. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

Thank you for all that Ethan is learning in math. The decimals, fractions, etc.. are not only classwork and homework for him, but I really see him utilize these skills in his activities of daily living (purchasing goods/paying cashier, measuring, etc.). For Ethan, it has really brought about a sense of independence in this area of socialization skills. As a parent, it's really rewarding for me to see.

    Sincerely,

    Ethan's mom
