A Postcard From Merton, Wisconsin, U.S.A.!

By Jaden and Tucker

We got a wonderful postcard from the 4K Team in  Merton, Wisconsin. Wisconsin is the 30th state in the U.S.A. and became a state in 1848. Merton has 2,650 people living in it. That is a small population compared to our suburban population. We have 24,000 people in our city. It is approximately a 17,500 person difference.

Jaden has a connection to Wisconsin. His parents went to college in Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin. The school mascot is the badger. In fact, the state nickname is the Badger State! We'd love to know, are there a lot of badgers in Wisconsin?

On the postcard there is a flag of Wisconsin, a flag of the U.S, a map of the U.S, and a map of Wisconsin. We would like to give a big thanks to Wisconsin for the post card.

Good luck to Wisconsin in the NCAAM tournament.

Has any reader ever been to Wisconsin?

Have any Wisconsinites  ever visited California?

What is the square area of Merton?

  3. @ AA,

I agree with you that the postcard project is amazing. It is very exciting when you get a postcard from somewhere else in the world because you get to learn about other places.

You will see that we have received many other postcards. It is amazing how many we got in our mailbox.

I would also love to visit Wisconsin. Maybe I would also go to the school in Madison for college.

    Warmly,
    Jaden
